Support and Operation: The organization must establish and maintain processes and procedures for the operation and maintenance of facilities, including those related to risk management, procurement, and outsourcing.
Performance Evaluation: The organization must monitor and measure the performance of its facility management system to ensure it is effective and aligned with the organization's objectives.
Improvement: The organization must continually improve its facility management system by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
ISO 41001:2018 certification is not mandatory, but organizations can obtain certification to demonstrate their compliance with the standard and improve their credibility and reputation with customers and stakeholders. To obtain certification, organizations must undergo an assessment by an accredited certification body to demonstrate that their facility management system meets the requirements of the standard.
