What is ISO 45001 Malaysia?

ISO 45001 is an international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It provides a framework for organizations to manage and improve their occupational health and safety performance by identifying and controlling health and safety risks, reducing workplace accidents and illnesses, and promoting a safe and healthy working environment.

Malaysia, as a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), has adopted ISO 45001:2018 as its national standard for occupational health and safety management systems. This means that Malaysian organizations can implement ISO 45001:2018 to comply with national and international occupational health and safety regulations, and demonstrate their commitment to protecting the health and safety of their employees and other stakeholders.
